Anda Peminat Cerita Nur Kasih?

After having headache and back pain for three days during reading Anatomy books, and auto-diagnosed myself as having prostate cancer - the symptoms due to cancer cells invaded my vertebral venous plexus and went up to my brain's dural venous sinuses - I managed to combine all the video parts downloaded from TV3 Portal to become a single file, WITHOUT the commercials. Now we can watch a full length episode without that long-stupid-boring commercials, hahahaha~ It's worth experimenting for 12 hours.

All credits goes to my lovely Avidemux, made the cutting and joining as easy as Cut-and-Paste, and this latest drama from TV3; Light of Love (Nur Kasih - I know, it sounds lame in English, haha). And my senior, who wrote about this drama in his blog; Azkaed. Directed by Kabir Bhatia (Kekasihku Seru, Sepi, Cinta) and written by Mira Mustaffa (Cinta), the story catched my attention. Plus, I'm one of the hero!

Synopsis:

Story about two brothers; Aidil the good boy and HafizAdam the bad boy. Aidil went to Cairo, Egypt and Adam went to Sydney, Australia to further their study. Their father, Ustaz Hassan fell sick and will be dead in two months, so they came home to be with him, for the last time.

Before he died, the father wants to see his sons get married so he asked Aidil, if he has anyone in his mind. Aidil told his father about Nur Amina, and the father made a cruel decision when he proposed Nur Amina for Adam (As expected. He wants the good wife to change Adam's bad behaviour since he failed to do so before).

Adam has a girlfriend in Australia; Katrina, and Nur Amina wants to further her study, so both of them didnt want to get married. But Hajah Khadijah advised Adam to respect father's last wish, and since Nur Amina is a cute good girl who obeys her parents, they finally got married.

Then Adam went back to Australia, leaving Nur Amina (He's so stupid, I rather choose Nur Amina than that old-looking Katrina. She's a cute hottie =P). What will happen to them? Dont forget to watch this at TV3 every Friday, 9pm.

I want to reencode them to XviD but the size will get triple and there're loss of quality (The original one is about 250kbps average, the same as downloaded from YouTube. Reencode using the same bitrate made it worse, higher bitrate's still blurry) so I kept them in the original codec for flash (VP6F), small size and faster to encode. Just sit back, watch happily and shut up. Find high quality videos at Jiwang or whatever site you know supplying Malay dramas.

The story seems typical but the director Kabir Bhatia, GAPENA, and cute Nur Amina made me watched this. At least the theme is NOT the same boring rempit, bohsia, bohjan, gay, power-struggling, or rich good-looking guy, like other Malay dramas. Better, there're no such stupid so-called-modern-names like Zoela or Ezora or Benny. Back to the nice good-old-days-village-named Nur Amina and Siti Sarah.

And I love the theme song: Nur Kasih by Yasin and Eena Houzyana.

Watched two episodes, quite good although it's a bit slow-paced. The synopsis and trailer in the website itself covers up to three episodes (I assume). Hope it'll get better soon. Besides the love story, you'll see how Aidil cope with the situation in Malaysia, the technique of dakwah. I hope this drama will not be influenced by that stupid Yasmin Ahmad, bringing wrong concept of Islam, and making controversial issues. I'll believe in the writer about this.

Overall? Need to watch more but in the meantime, [7/10]

My headache's still there, and my back pain worsen each days, I need to do some Prostatic Specific Antigen (PSA) Test to confirm my auto-diagnose, tee hee~
