adakah keadaan macam ini akan berlaku dalam demonstrasi bogel?cuba lihat

Naked Anger. The ab0ve picture is of Mexican farmers staging a naked protest. This is probably how it'd look if members of Reformis, an NGO, are allowed by the authorities to strip naked in front of the Selangor MB's office, as a protest purportedly against a proposal by the Selangor Government to double rental under a housing scheme for the poor.

We've seen many demonstrations before and after the 12th GE, including the Penguin Walk, the Yellow March, Hindraf, and the on-going anti-ISA vigils (including one in Penang tonight). None of them has done it naked.

In some countries that believe total freedom, it's No Sweat. But here, the police have issued a warning of stern action (see Bernama story below).

Stern Action For Demonstrating Nude: Selangor CPO

SHAH ALAM, Nov 14 (Bernama) -- Selangor police chief, Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar, today warned firm action will be taken on anyone or any non-governmental organisation (NGO) who stage illegal assemblies.

"We will take firm action against any NGO that holds a gathering without a permit, what more with nude persons," he said when contacted here Friday.

Khalid was commenting on the threat by 'Gerakan Reformis Rakyat Malaysia' (Reformis) that its members would strip in front of Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, which houses the offices of the Menteri Besar and the state executive councillors, to press the state government not to do things that did not benefit the people as reported in the 'Sinar Harian' newspaper Friday.

Among matters that Reformis is not happy about is the move to raise the rental of low cost houses under the People's Housing Project from RM124 a month to RM250.

Reformis' president, Ramlan Abu Bakar, was quoted by the newspaper as saying: "As the public, we feel we do not have a chance to change under the administration of Khalid (Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim).
